Prescription Policy
Last edited and effective as of March 30, 2026.
My Venus Club is committed to providing safe, compliant, and patient-centered care. This policy outlines how medications, if appropriate, are evaluated and provided through our telehealth platform.
1. Clinical Evaluation Requirement All prescriptions are issued only after a thorough clinical evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider, which may include review of medical history, assessment of symptoms and health goals, review of diagnostic testing and wearable data, and determination of medical appropriateness. There is no guarantee that any medication will be prescribed.
2. Provider Discretion All treatment decisions, including whether to prescribe medication, are made at the sole discretion of the licensed provider based on clinical judgment and applicable medical standards. Providers may determine that medication is appropriate, not appropriate, or that additional testing is required before treatment.
3. Licensed Pharmacies Only If a prescription is issued, medications are dispensed through licensed U.S. pharmacies operating in compliance with state and federal regulations. My Venus Club does not manufacture or directly dispense medications.
4. No Controlled Substances My Venus Club does not prescribe controlled substances, including opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants, or other medications classified as controlled under federal or state law.
5. Compounded Medications If compounded medications are considered, they are prescribed only when clinically appropriate and sourced from properly licensed compounding pharmacies (503A or 503B, as applicable). Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drugs. My Venus Club does not prescribe or facilitate access to compounded medications restricted under current FDA guidance.
6. Patient Responsibility Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical information, informing providers of current medications and conditions, following prescribed instructions, and reporting side effects or concerns promptly.
7. Prescription Fulfillment & Shipping Fulfillment is handled by the dispensing pharmacy. Shipping timelines and policies are determined by the pharmacy. My Venus Club does not control pharmacy processing or delivery times.
8. Follow-Up & Monitoring Ongoing care may include follow-up consultations, monitoring of progress and response to treatment, and adjustments to care plans as clinically indicated. Continued prescriptions may require reassessment and an updated clinical evaluation.
9. Limitations of Telehealth Prescribing Certain conditions may require in-person evaluation, not all medications are appropriate for telehealth prescribing, and providers may refer patients to local care when necessary.
10. Compliance with Laws & Regulations My Venus Club operates in accordance with state medical licensing laws, federal and state prescribing regulations, and telehealth and pharmacy compliance standards.
